What is Zozy?
Zozy is an independent shopping assistant for iPhone. When you’re shopping in person and find something you want, snap a picture and Zozy tells you if it’s a good deal. It works on new and used items.
How does a price check work?
Take a photo of the item. If there’s a price tag in the shot, Zozy reads the asking price, and you can correct it or type it in yourself. Within seconds you get an estimated fair price, a verdict on the asking price, and live listings for the same or similar items, so you can see if you can get it for less elsewhere.
What do the verdicts mean?
Great Price: well below what it’s worth
Good Price: a good price for what it is
Fair Price: about what it’s worth
High Price: more than it’s worth
If there isn’t enough pricing data to make the call, Zozy says so instead of guessing.
Where do the prices come from?
Zozy runs a reverse-image search on your photo to find the same or similar items for sale, then reads current asking prices from retailers and marketplaces across the web. It uses those live listings to estimate what the item should cost you today. Listings show what sellers are asking, not what items sold for, and prices change constantly. Treat every result as context for your decision, not a guaranteed price.
What can I check?
Almost anything you’re thinking about buying, new or used. Zozy works especially well for clothing, accessories, furniture, home goods, collectibles, electronics and vintage pieces.
Where can I use Zozy?
Anywhere you shop in person: retail stores, outlets, thrift stores, estate sales and garage sales.
What if I want it but I’m not ready to buy?
Save it to your Watchlist. Each week Zozy scans thousands of sites for available listings and organizes the options for you, so you can check in when you’re ready.
What does Zozy cost?
Zozy is free to start, with 10 price checks a month. Membership is pay what you can: choose $1.99, $3.99 or $7.99 a month. Every option gets the same access, including unlimited price checks. Memberships are billed through your Apple ID and you can cancel anytime.
How does Zozy make money?
From memberships and nothing else. Zozy takes no advertising, no affiliate commissions and no payments from brands or sellers, and it doesn’t sell your data. Zozy earns nothing whether you buy or walk away.
Is a Zozy result an appraisal?
No. Results are automated estimates meant to help you decide whether to buy. They can be wrong, and they are not a professional appraisal.
Is my data private?
Zozy does not sell your personal data. To identify and price your item, Zozy sends your photo to OpenAI, Anthropic and an image-search provider. You’re asked to agree to this in the app before your first photo, and Zozy doesn’t send them your name, email or account details. The Privacy Policy explains what each one receives.
Is Zozy on Android?
Zozy is available on iPhone only right now.
How do I delete my account?
In the app, go to Account, then Delete Account. If you need help, email support@zozy.app.
